I know it’s been forever since I have posted anything. This is mostly due to the fact that I have been concentrating on college and work life. Also, I recently got a sinus infection and am getting over that. College and work have been going well. Getting used to both are a little hard, but I am extremely happy to have a job and be in college now. January has been a month where I have been getting used to the school and such.
Next month is a month where I have to get on track. I was supposed to be 30 lbs less by now and I’m not. The campus offers a fitness area and a huge swimming pool. So I plan to try to go at least twice a week. I am also going to try to find ways to increase my steps and do other things for myself to lose this weight. I can lose the weight.
Anyway, those are my thoughts for now. I will update soon. Promise.
I’m sorry I haven’t kept the blog up to date. So what has been going on in my life? Well I started school at WVU on Monday. We just basically did an overview of the class and syllabus on Monday for both of my classes. I had my first lecture on Wednesday for Planet Earth, then tomorrow I have my second one. I am excited, but feel a little out of place. These students are a lot different than the ones were like when I went to school. They’re on their phones a lot before and while in class, wear holey pants (even in the Winter), and are not afraid of saying the ‘f’ word out of class. It’s a new experience for me.
Work is going well. I’m having good experiences and am mainly working up front. I love doing so and everyone, for the most part, is nice to me. I’ve had some bad experiences, but I’ve tried to learn from them.
I’ve been sick since last week, but I am starting to get over it I think. Well that is all that is going on for now. I will update, hopefully soon. Have a good night.
Hi everyone! Well I’m late on the New Year’s wishes. I had to work on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. So yes, I was a little tired. Work has been tiring for me as I get used to it. I have mostly been working the front. I also work the evening shift which means when I come home I don’t really want to do much. Just want to go to bed. Maybe read a little. Anyway, every year I like to make a New Year’s resolutions list. Some don’t because if they don’t complete it they get disappointed. I’m going to try to keep mine simple.
2018 Resolution List:
- Complete 10 classes for my Geology degree.
- Lose 30 lbs.
- Swim twice a week.
- Get a new car (meaning used certified).
- Start dating again.
Well that’s all I can think of for now. I don’t want to go overboard. So I will talk soon. Have a good one everybody.
