In a lot of pain

I’ve been in a lot of pain lately. I don’t know why, but part of it is, I think, because of my mattress. Next month I plan to get a new mattress from QVC on easy pay. Until then I guess I am going to have to suffer. I’m just having a lot of back pain and pain in my hips. This really is not helping me. I don’t blame it fully on the mattress though. I need to get back to living healthier. I need to get to having a diet and sticking to it. My cravings have been overpowering me really badly and I have got to the point where I haven’t been able to control them. So I have to get that under control. I also need to walk more. Take more steps everyday. I’m going to go back to swimming at the WVU center next month. So maybe that will help me with my back as well. So anyway, that is all for now. Talk soon.

My trip

Well I forgot to post on how my trip was. I went down to see my best friend and her family in Oak Hill on Friday. I’m an adopted aunt to a niece and nephew who I love and absolutely love to lavish with gifts. So I stopped on the way down at Flatwoods which has an Amish Bulk Foods shop (I absolutely recommend it if you come through WV sometime) and got some cheese, among other things. We are cheese lovers. So on Saturday we made a trip to Cross Lanes and I bought some CBD oil (Cannabis and it is legal) to see if it would help me with some of my pains. We ate lunch at the Rice Bowl (great crab rangoons) then went back home. My best friend is a great cook. Makes such great food! Unfortunately, on Sunday I went back home instead of staying till Monday. I got a migraine and it just wasn’t going away. I am glad in part because I was in a lot of pain when I got home and when I woke up the next morning. My back hurt like heck. Probably from driving and sleeping on my friend’s futon. However, I would sleep in the floor to stay with my friend. I would like to go back down in February or April. We’ll see on the weather. I had a great time and I miss her so much! But that was my trip. Talk soon.

The week is passing by so quickly

The week is passing by so quickly. On Friday I go on my trip to see my best friend in Oak Hill. I am so happy but am going to be so busy as well. Tomorrow especially. I’ve got a lot of things to pack. Today I finally finished the last pillowcase for my nephew and I have to put it in the dryer with his sister’s in a few minutes. I’ll take pictures before I head out on Friday. I’ve just got so much to do and so little time. At least the car has been cleaned. I’m just a nervous wreck. I’m looking forward to see my best friend which I haven’t seen in forever. Anyway, that’s it for now. Have a good night!

Las Vegas

Today is a very sad day because of the Las Vegas tragedy. I just don’t know what is going on with the world. The gunman apparently had no mental issues or wasn’t affiliated with any religious group that we know of. He was a normal guy from what the news tells us. Yet he fired on thousands of people, killing some and wounding others. I am just totally confused and don’t get it. I don’t get why someone would do this to people. Why? This makes me doubt my fellow man sometimes. Was he depressed? Could this have been prevented? Prayers to all the families involved. I hope I don’t hear anything worse in the morning. Good night.

End of the month

I can’t believe September is at it’s end already. I’m excited to tell the truth. Next week I see my best friend and I just can’t wait to get out on my own for a weekend. My car is finally road ready after being serviced and having its state inspection. So it is all good. Next week I will be busy preparing to clean up my car and getting stuff ready to take down to see my friend. I feel so much better now that I can drive. Also, October is upon us. October is my favorite month because of Halloween/Samhain. I am going to the Witches Ball on the 14th, which will be my first one. I look forward to it. 🙂 A lot of excitement this coming month. Can’t wait! Well that’s it for now.

Getting things back in order

Well yesterday I became six months seizure-free, which means I can drive by myself again. It is exciting when you have epilepsy and you can get back on the road. Many people take driving for granted. It’s a freedom for me. Well today I went with my dad to the courthouse and DMV to pay property taxes and I had to get a new license plate at the DMV. Turns out that after four months of not driving your car you have to get a new one. I haven’t driven mine in six. So all that is done. Now the servicing and inspection will be done on Friday and after that my car will be officially road ready. Next week I am going down to see my BFF and her family. I am so excited! Lots to do before I go, but I’m trying to get everything ready. Well that’s it for now. Talk soon.
