My life has changed

Well my life has changed in the past few weeks. Last week I got my new car. It is a Hyundai Elantra 2018. It looks sort of goldish-silver. I like it a lot. It has bluetooth, a back-up camera, and lots of other great features. I love it. I also got a new iPhone last week as well. I didn’t have much left on it and paid it off plus got a new case and liquid protection for the screen. The negatives, well on Monday I was at work and was called into the office by my new manager and the hospitality manager. I had called the employee hotline and told them that I felt like I wasn’t being shifted around enough. They think that I am slow in the kitchen, even on the fryer. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are some of our busiest days, but I can do work when we have slower times. I don’t feel like they’re giving me a chance. I don’t understand why I am being treated like this. Tomorrow I have to work, but I am going to  just let it go for now. I need my job to pay off my car and the cell phone and I am also going back to school. So I can’t quit now. I just have to let it roll off my back. Anyway, that’s all about my life for now. Talk soon.

Happy 4th of July!

Hey everyone,

Happy 4th of July! I thought I would wish everyone a wonderful day of celebration. We have so many people to thank for our freedom and sometimes we forget to celebrate them all year long, we just celebrate them this one time of the year. We must always remember that freedom is not free. Many wars have been fought over freedom and if we hadn’t we wouldn’t have the freedoms we do have today. So enjoy this great holidays and thank you to our veterans and those before us!

What a great day

It’s been such a long time since I have posted. I do apologize. I haven’t had the time with my job and I am trying to get things together. Today was a great day for me. I went to the Hyundai dealership and traded in my Hyundai Elantra 2007 for a new Hyundai Elantra 2018. I put down $3000 as a down payment, plus they had excellent incentives. I was really happy. I am saved that money and am glad that they took me seriously. So here’s a picture:

Of course I like the color. My old one was silver and this reminds me of a beige silver color. It’s a really nice car. It has a back up camera, bluetooth, and much more. I am very impressed and look forward to driving it. My dad likes it and he will probably be driving it a lot. 🙂 Anyway, I will post soon.

On the News

I’m getting a little bugged with the news lately. First, it’s Trump and his separating kids from their parents at the border. How can you do that to children? How can you be so cruel? Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not for illegal immigration. If you want to come into the U.S. and live here you need to do it the right way. However, tearing families apart is not the right way. Especially when there are younger children involved.

Then I saw this morning on KDKA (a Pennsylvania News Station) about a protest about a teenage black boy being shot by police. They were screaming ‘Black Lives Matter!’ This can be a touchy subject to many people. I’m not saying that the boy’s life didn’t matter. I hope the family gets a full investigation from the police and gets what they deserve. However, it feels a bit racist screaming ‘Black Lives Matter!’ Don’t all lives matter? Don’t Asian lives matter? What about Spanish? Everyone’s life matters. Don’t just narrow it down to one race.

So yeah, that’s my rant. If you disagree that’s fine, if you agree that’s fine. I’m not trying to offend anyone.

Merry Midsummer!

Merry Midsummer everyone! If you don’t know, today is the longest day of the year. It is also known as the Summer Solstice. This is a special time of year where the year starts its way back towards darkness. We still have plenty of time to celebrate the Summer, but before you know it, Fall will be a coming. So I wish you all a Merry Midsummer and Blessings!

My birthday

OMG. I can’t believe I turned 36 today. I am one year older. It seems time passes by so quickly. When I was born I had my first seizure at 8 hours old due to a drop in blood sugar. I don’t know if anyone would have thought I would make it this long with all the health issues that I have. However, I have and I am very happy that I have. I feel very blessed to have made it and am looking forward to many more years on this earth.

So yesterday we had my nephew and celebrated my birthday. We went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch then went to Barnes and Noble afterwards. Today, I really didn’t do too much except go out to Giant Eagle. I did receive a teapot (Fiestaware) and I absolutely love it. I love teapots. It’s been an absolute great birthday and I appreciate my parents for making it that way. I also got some Seagrams today. I don’t drink a lot. I usually drink about twice a year, so I go Peach Fuzzy Navel and Bahama Mama. But anyway, that’s all for now. Going to bed early, tomorrow is a day for work. Night.

Well my parents are coming back home today. I am so excited. I am looking forward to seeing them. I just wish that time would pass really quickly. I have to call at 7:00 am to wake up my parents. After that I am going back to bed. I have to work and am going to need to sleep for a while. I am just excited for my parents to come home. I live with my parents and being without them makes me very lonely. Almost 36 years old, but I have a close relationship with them and I love them very much. So anyway, I will post soon.
